CADWorx

Michael Smith
CADWorx Global Business Development | PP&M Intergraph

Michael recently joined Intergraph CAS with over 30 years’ experience in the process industries, covering multiple aspects of design, engineering and construction. He has also had experience working within the Autodesk channel. Recently, as director of virtual design and construction at Harder Mechanical Construction, he oversaw the implementation and use of engineering design tools such as CADWorx on a $4 billion US-based semiconductor plant.

Sonia Delgadillo
CADWorx Applications Specialist | PP&M Intergraph

Sonia Delgadillo is a CADWorx Applications Specialist for the Intergraph CADWorx and Analysis (ICAS) team in Houston, Texas. Sonia joined the ICAS team in January 2009, and is primarily responsible for the Intergraph CADWorx products. Her focus is to help further the technical skills of plant designers and mechanical engineers in their use of design and analysis application systems. She started teaching designers, engineers, owner operators, and EPC firms in 2004 and enjoys empowering users to develop and implement best practices to improve their effectiveness.

CADWorx E&I

Joseph Faulk
Executive Director, Global Business Development, CADWorx E&I, Intergraph

Joseph is the Executive Director for Intergraph’s CADWorx E&I Solution, with responsibility for global business development and product line management. He has a background in electrical controls engineering, mergers and acquisition integration, and technical sales & services management. Prior to working at Intergraph, Joseph was the Senior Manager of Technical Sales & Services for North America at Autodesk. Prior to that, his experience at VIA Development was in the area of technical sales and application engineering. Joseph’s first job was with Computer Age Engineering, where he learned real world controls engineering, while completing his Electrical Engineering degree from Purdue University. Joseph’s education also includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Ron Williams
System Consultant, Direct & Channel Sales, CADWorx E&I, Intergraph

Ron Williams graduated from Texas A&M University in 1994 where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He began his career with Celanese chemical company where he worked as a project engineer over seeing Instrument and electrical projects. Later he worked for other companies gaining experience in maintenance engineering and eventually recognized as a senior instrument engineer.  Mr. Williams joined Intergraph PPM in 2001 as a Senior Support Engineer working primarily with SmartPlant Instrumentation and SP Electrical.  He worked with customers in the areas of software database management, training, customization, and best practices.   In 2009 he joined the PPM services group as a system consultant where he learned to work with SP Foundation, integrating SPI, SPEL, SPPID, and SP3D.    In 2013 he joined Intergraph CADWorx and Analysis Solutions where he’s working with CADWorx E&I.   He’s currently applying his 8 years of engineering experience, 12 years of working with Instrument and Electrical engineering design software, and knowledge of integration to help bring CADWorx E&I to the Americas region.


CAESAR II

Richard Ay
Vice President of Software Development | PP&M Intergraph

Richard Ay graduated with a BS in Ocean Engineering in 1977 after which he worked for a major EPC firm. In 1983 while working for an offshore consulting firm, Rich earned an MS in Covil Engineering. In 1985, at the request of Tony Paulin, one of the founders of COADE, Rich joined COADE. Since then Rich has spent his time working on the development of CAESAR II, TANK, product licensing, QA and technical support procedures. Rich is now the Vice President of Software Development and oversees the development of COADE's plant engineering products. Rich has his Professional Engineering license and is a member of ASCE.

Mitchell J Sklar, PE, SECB, MBA

Analysis Solutions Expert | PP&M Intergraph

Mitch Sklar is a registered professional engineer with extensive project background & situational knowledge of design, analysis, & construction. He has over 25 years of evaluative expertise (Structural, Pipe Stress, & Finite Element Analysis), as well as project management, & construction management experience in the design & analysis of commercial & industrial vertical structures, along with stress analysis & design of high temperature/high pressure piping systems.
Mitch is currently our resident GT Strudl, CAESAR II, PV Elite, and TANK Analysis Solutions Expert with managing responsibility of analysis & design support for the sales team & developing the business strategy of the Structural/CAE Applications to support a global product utilization.

GT STRUDL

Dr. Kenneth M. (Mac) Will
Executive Technical Director, ICAS GT STRUDL Development Team | PP&M Intergraph
Prior to joining Intergraph in February of 2014, Dr. Will had more than 35 years of experience as a faculty member and co-director of the GT STRUDL team at Georgia Tech.    As a faculty member, he taught numerous courses on structural analysis, finite element analysis and structural modeling in addition to performing research in these areas.  He has also taught numerous continuing education courses for practicing engineers.  Since joining Intergraph, he has continued to be responsible for the development of GT STRUDL.
 

Dr. Michael Swanger

Staff Software Scientist, ICAS GT STRUDL Development Team | PP&M Intergraph

Prior to joining Intergraph in February of 2014, Michael Swanger has more than 35 years of experience as a research faculty member with Georgia Tech in nearly all aspects related to GT STRUDL software design, implementation, maintenance, user training, and customer support, primarily in the areas of computational linear and nonlinear static and dynamic structural analysis.  Dr. Swanger holds Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Ph.D, degrees in civil and structural engineering, all from Georgia Tech.

PV Elite

Ray Delaforce
Software Engineer | PP&M Intergraph

Ray joined Intergraph CADWorx and Analysis Solutions group in 2003. Ray provides technical support in the PV Elite support and maintenance department. His duties include training in the use of PV Elite software both in the United States and abroad.

Scott Mayeux
Technical Director, PV Elite & TANK | PP&M Intergraph

Scott Mayeux is a Mechanical Engineer with 25 years of experience in the Engineering and Software Development Fields. His area of expertise is in integration of ASME and other Codes and Standards into the PV Elite software. Over the years Scott also garnered experience in Pipe Stress analysis as well as knowledge in other standards such as WRC, TEMA, API and many others. At Intergraph, Scott is Technical Director in charge of software development for Intergraph’s Pressure Vessel and Exchanger Solutions. For the last fourteen years he has also served as an ASME Code Committee member on the Sub Group Heat Transfer Equipment (SGHTE).
