HOUSTON, November 22, 2005 : COADE, Inc. announced today that CETIM, a major provider of technology and research for mechanical engineering in Europe, has signed with FERN Computer Consultancy LTD UK to be a reseller for COADE's CAD and CAE software products. FERN has been a leading COADE distributor/dealer in Europe for 12 years. In this new arrangement, CETIM will be a reseller of COADE's CADWorx suite for process plant design as well as CAESAR II, the world's most widely used pipe stress analysis software; PVElite and CodeCalc, pressure vessel and component design and analysis software programs; and TANK, comprehensive engineering software for designing and analyzing oil storage tanks. Initially, five CETIM commercial engineers will be involved in selling these software products.

"COADE has always had a good presence in France for our mechanical engineering analysis software," explained Bill Evans, head of Sales and Operations at COADE, "and the association of CETIM with FERN will give us a much broader exposure in the CAD side of the market." COADE's president, Tom Van Laan described the importance in the CAD segment. "Our company has seen major growth in its CADWorx plant design products in recent years and we think we are poised to extend our growth in the European market, " Van Laan stated, "so adding CETIM and their proven capabilities is perfect timing."

Founded in 1965, CETIM (Centre Technique des Industries Mecaniques) is an organization aligned with mechanical firms that employ 750 people, including 565 engineers and technicians at Senlis, Nantes and Saint-Etienne in France. The organization also has 14 regional and two associate centers in France plus offices in Canada, Tunisia, Thailand and Morocco. "The aim of CETIM is not only to help support research, improve productivity and guarantee quality in the mechanical engineering sector, but also to contribute in general to technological progress in this industry," said Mansour Afzali, head of CETIM's CAE Business, "and we believe the ability of CETIM to offer CADWorx and the other outstanding COADE solutions to these firms will complement our efforts in many ways." CETIM's primary areas of support are providing information on technological developments affecting the mechanical engineering sector, directing R&D and standardization work for these firms' collective needs and satisfying individual requests with the appropriate products and services.
