HOUSTON, January 14, 1999 COADE, Inc. has released CODECALC Version 6.10, an updated version of its popular Windows (95/98/NT) software for design and analysis of pressure vessel and heat exchanger components. CODECALC Version 6.10 incorporates updated standards including ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) Section VIII, Division 1, 1998 Edition and ASME Code Case 2290 which provides a 12.5% increase in allowable stresses. Other enhancements include an expanded yield stress vs. temperature database and enhanced unit options. For greater user convenience, the new version provides an enhanced HTML Help system and links within the software to COADE's web site and technical support.
