COADE UPDATES TANK SOFTWARE FOR
OIL STORAGE TANK DESIGN, ANALYSIS & MAINTENANCE

HOUSTON, December 5, 1997 -- COADE, Inc. has released an enhanced version of TANK, its software for oil storage tank design, analysis and maintenance. TANK Version 1.51 includes the recently released API (American Petroleum Institute) 653 Addendum 1 updates. Other changes include updates to the AISC structural database and output reports and the addition of a roof plate corrosion allowance and multiple steel databases including five overseas databases.

COADE’s TANK program saves time by computerizing a time-demanding engineering task in the design and evaluation of oil storage tanks. Incorporating the latest API 650 and 653 codes, TANK provides thickness design, allowable fluid height, shell settlement evaluation, internal pressure, seismic and wind girder requirements and more. Its menu-driven interface offers the user logical options, and its context-sensitive Help provides instant on-screen technical assistance for each data field.
